Addie Wagenknecht comes to the Foundation with over a decade of experience developing open source technologies that shape how we interact with our environment and the daily processes of our lives- from open source computer vision systems to fabrication machines and robotics.
Her research and creative work has been featured in the Vienna, Moscow, and Istanbul biennials, exhibited at the Center Pompidou, MQ and acquired by the Whitney Museum of American Art. She has collaborated with everyone from Google to Chanel researching and creating methodologies to develop atypical expressions within technology.
She holds a Masters degree from the Interactive Telecommunications Program at New York University and has previously held research fellowships at Culture Lab UK, Institute HyperWerk for Postindustrial Design Basel (CH), Google's Machine Intelligence Group and The Frank-Ratchye STUDIO for Creative Inquiry at Carnegie Mellon University.
In her freetime she likes to ski off step ledges, surf around the MENA and eat cake.
