Nikos Karagiannidis is a data management and database expert with a strong research background and a PhD in computer science and databases from the National Technical University of Athens, acquired under the supervision of eminent data scientist Professor Timos Sellis. He has many years of industry experience as a Data Warehouse and Big Data architect. He is an Oracle database specialist with many years of experience working with real-world Oracle databases and is an Oracle Database 11g Administrator Certified Professional (OCP). Nikos is an experienced functional programmer, and primarily codes in Haskell.
Nikos is currently related to H2020 project PRIViLEDGE - Privacy-Enhancing Cryptography in Distributed Ledgers - where he is responsible for the software updates use-case.
